Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa, Mazuba Monze, has formally presented her credentials to South African President Cyril Ramaphosa in a ceremony at the Sefako Makgatho Presidential Guest House in Pretoria. President Ramaphosa underscored the enduring friendship between Zambia and South Africa, highlighting the robust and longstanding relations between the two nations.

During the ceremony, President Ramaphosa extended his congratulations to Ms. Monze on her appointment as Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa and expressed his best wishes for her success in executing her duties and responsibilities as the country’s envoy.

In her response, Ms. Monze pledged to focus on strengthening the historical bilateral relations between Zambia and South Africa. She reiterated her commitment to enhancing mutual cooperation and understanding between the two nations. Ms. Monze acknowledged the rich and multifaceted historical bilateral relations marked by a longstanding history of cooperation in various sectors, including health, trade, infrastructure development, energy, mining, cultural exchange, and diplomatic ties.
