A 36 YEAR OLD woman only identified as Mutinta Maambo is alleged to have committed suicide by jumping from Misisi footbridge along Kafue road in Lusaka.
Police deputy spokesperson Danny Mwale said the incident occurred today between 10:30 hours and 11:00 hours at Misisi Footbridge along Kafue road.
“ The deceased who sustained a deep cut on the head, was pronounced dead upon arrival at the University Teaching Hospital, ” he said
Mr Mwale said police have launched investigations to establish the factual cause of the incident.
