Wizkid Announces Four to Five-Year Hiatus from Music
Nigerian music sensation, Ayodeji Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, has made a significant announcement about his music career. He took to Instagram to reveal that he will be stepping away from the music scene for a period of four to five years.
In his Instagram posts on a Sunday, Wizkid stated his intention to take a break from making music. He added a touch of humor to his message, mentioning that during his hiatus, he might explore other interests like playing football, golf, Fifa, or even wrestling.
Wizkid also expressed his concern for the well-being of his fans and urged them to take time for themselves and enjoy precious moments with their loved ones.
This decision comes on the heels of Wizkid recent cancelation of several music performances following the passing of his mother.
