SENSIO BANDA DITCHES PF
By Memory Mwale
Former Kasenengwa PF Member of Parliament Sensio Banda has resigned from the former ruling party.
In his resignation letter addressed to PF secretary general and copied to Eastern Province PF chairperson, Mr Banda, who was also provincial vice-secretary, acknowledged the critical role the party played to nurture and shape my political vocation.
He acknowledged the party for the opportunity to serve in some of the party’s important positions such as secretary to the research political bureau, provincial vice-secretary and other delegated duties.
“Secondly, I would like to thank the former republican president Dr Edgar Chagwa Lungu and the party for having accorded me the opportunity to serve the wonderful people of Kasenengwa constituency as Member of Parliament from September 2018 to July 2021. Above all, I would like to acknowledge the political tutelage I underwent from some of the senior officials of the PF. Given the above, I would like to further indicate that after considerable personal introspection and consultation on pertinent political and personal thematic issues, henceforth, I have resigned Patriotic Front member and provincial vice-secretary for Eastern Province,” Mr Banda said.
He wished the PF well in all its future endeavours.
