A poll on both Twitter and Facebook was taken in Kenya to find out which of the two series was believed to be better than the other. Fans seemed to be loving the prison bassed series more than the Spanish special based on robbery.
Fans also gave reasons as to why they chose one over the other Fans of famed series Prison Break and the ‘new kid’ Money Heist have gone up against each other in a poll to see which one comes out top. Two social media polls on Twitter and Facebook to find out what fans thought was the best of the two TV shows, which have been put on the spot as some of the best movie series of the 21st century.
According to both polls, Prison Break was voted as the best, but Money Heist was not far much behind. On Twitter, Prison Break topped with 45.1% to 37.4% for Money Heist; five percent said none was best while 11 said both were just great. On Facebook, the prison-based series was also the winner pulling 101,000 votes to the 940 for the robbery based Spanish special.
Fans also gave reasons as to why they chose one over the other. Here are some of the responses from TV shows fans: “The suspense and unpredictability in Prison Break are on another level, dope,” Waheire Mwaniki said. “No series like Prison Break, the best of all times,” Mwendwa Kithinji said. “Money Heist when it’s more than a movie,” Hapush Mwaniki said.
“Why compare Prison Break to this soap opera. Money Heist is overrated, the tempo is so slow you get tired watching. I wonder why IMDB gave it an 8.5/10 rating. I will rate it below five” Evans Singoei said. “Both series are exceptional, but Michael Scofield is smarter in his games than Sergio Marquina,” Daniel Mwangi said. “They are all the best including Blacklist. All rated 4.9 stars,” Dennis Bull said.
“Money heist is so emotional, sometimes I cry watching some parts, the sweetest one,” Dernco Lily said.
Money Heist is a 2017 TV action/drama series about a criminal mastermind by the name The Professor who plans to pull off the biggest heists in history by getting into the Royal Mint of Spain and printing loads of cash. The money is successfully transported albeit with several ‘casualties’. Prison Break, on the other hand, is a 2005 action/drama focusing on an engineer who commits a crime to get himself in a prison he helped design in order to save his falsely accused brother from a death sentence.
