Pere Egbi, the renowned star of Big Brother Naija, has disclosed that he and his romantic partner, Mercy Eke, have opted to shield their relationship from the prying eyes of the public.
According to a report by DAILY POST, the couple, who kindled their romance during the recent BBNaija All Stars season, has consciously maintained a low profile regarding their relationship since leaving the show.
In a recent interview with TVC, Pere clarified their stance, stating, “Mercy and I are close friends, and we’ve made a deliberate choice to keep our relationship away from the public eye. We’re taking it one step at a time to see where it leads.”
Regarding the post-show controversies and conflicts that often surface online, especially among the female housemates, Pere commented, “Women are known for their dramatic tendencies. They are merely being themselves, and that’s just the way women are. Perhaps we should all sit back with some popcorn and enjoy the unfolding drama.”
He also reflected on his time in the House, suggesting that if he had the opportunity to make changes, he would have been “firmer” with his fellow housemates.
