The COVID-19 pandemic has affected lives across the continent and beyond financially, many people seem to have forgotten that the biggest issue at hand with the virus is that it affects us physically.
Sadly, many people have lost their lives to Covid-19, including our beloved Dr Sindi van Zyl and Jackson Mthembu. Other celebrities, such a Zola Hashatsi have revealed on surviving this covid-19 twice.
Our celebs, such as Dingaan Mokebe ka Khumalo who plays the character of James Motsamai on the SABC2 sudser, Muvhango, recently took to Instagram to slam fans for not protecting them when asking for pictures. Dingaan called out fans who do not wear masks when approaching them in public, but expect them to yield to their requests when they ask for pictures.

Minnie Dlamini recently asked her followers to keep her and her family in their prayers because they are going through a rough patch. Her cryptic post did not quite reveal much about who might have contracted the virus between herself her husband, Quinton, but she did warn her fans that it is not to be taken lightly: “My family and I are currently out of commission…COVID is real and this wave is hectic!!! Stay safe and keep us in your prayers!!!” she tweeted.
Award-winning rapper Nadia Nakai revealed the news of testing positive to her followers last month. Taking to her Instagram stories to share her experience with the virus, Nadia said she does not have symptoms yet, however, she expressed feeling very lonely: “So I just wanna let you know that I have tested positive for COVID I have zero symptoms which is crazy. I know I sound nasally but it’s not real.I just wanna let you guys know that you should still be careful because you could be carrying the virus without even f*cking knowing. The f*ck COVID. Anyway, I’m fine, my family is fine and I’m recovering even though I don’t really have any symptoms. So now I’m just taking thotty pictures in my house cause I’m bored.”
