Lusaka’s legacy resort on fire

LUSAKA’S Legacy Resort in Meanwood Ibex Hill has lost property after burning embers from the grass fire caused three residential Villas to catch fire.

The resort has however assured its customers that it is still open as the fire was put out.

“Today at approximately 15:00 hours, there was a grass fire in an adjacent grass field to the Lusaka Legacy Resort in the Meanwood/Ibex Hill area of Lusaka, Zambia.

Burning embers from the grass fire caused three residential Villas to catch fire.  Those three buildings are a total loss,” reads the statement.

The resort state that no guest or staff were injured in the inferno.
