Struggling FAZ Super Division team, Kansanshi Dynamos, has taken the decision to terminate the contract of Coach Boyd Mulwanda due to a series of underwhelming results.
Kansanshi currently finds itself in a precarious relegation position with only nine points garnered from ten matches played. The team has experienced a dry spell, failing to secure a victory in their last six matches.
In an announcement made on Wednesday morning, Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club officially confirmed the separation from Head Coach Boyd Mulwanda, citing the team’s unsatisfactory performance since the commencement of the season.
As part of this change, the club has appointed Donwell Yobe as the interim coach.
In their statement, Kansanshi expressed that this decision was taken in the best interests of both parties, with an eye towards future growth and achievements. Effective immediately, First Assistant Coach Donwell Yobe will assume the interim role of Head Coach, overseeing the club’s affairs.
Boyd Mulwanda had joined Kansanshi in January 2022, and the club conveyed its sincere appreciation for his contributions during his tenure, wishing him success in his future endeavors.
