PATRIOTIC Front( PF) member Chishimba Kambwili has been detained at Kabwata police station for the offence of expressing or showing hatred, sport for persons because of race tribe or place of origin.
Dr Kambwili is likely to be transferred to Kasama where the offence passed.
Zambia Police deputy Spokesperson Danny Mwale says Police have recorded a advise and advise statement from Dr Kambwili.
“ He has been advised and cautioned for the subject offence of Expressing or showing hatred, for persons because of race, tribe or place of origin negative to Section 70( i) and( ii) Chapter 87 as read with ActNo. 2 of 2021 of the Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes of the Laws ofZambia.This occurred between May 2021 and August 2021 at Radio Mano in Kasama, Northern Province, ” he said.
Mr Mwale said the investigators were yet to guide them on if Dr Kambwili will be transferred to the place where the offence took place.
