Japan commits to enhanced economic cooperation

MINISTER of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Stanley Kakubo held a bilateral meeting with Japanese Ambassador Mizuuchi Ryuta at Charter House in Lusaka. Mr. Kakubo said during the meeting the two leaders explored ways of strengthening the existing cooperation between the two countries under the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) framework, among other issues. “We also took the opportunity to once more convey our deepest condolences to the Government and the people of Japan on the death of Mr. Shinzo Abe, the former Prime Minister who passed away on 8th July, 2022,” he said. Mr. Kakubo said  Zambia and Japan will continue to enjoy excellent bilateral relations and cooperation.
