“I Felt Like Crying” Cassper’s Mental Health Struggle

Cassper Nyovest has candidly opened up about his mental health in a tweet shared on Wednesday, 1 July 2020. The multi-award winning rapper has broken boundaries with his ability to stay cool in an intense situation, stating, “I reached a new level of mental strength today. I felt like crying but i pushed until i cracked the door. Getting on the other side of it felt great but the process was hell.”

Cassper recently welcomed a son on Monday, 22 June 2020, and many have attributed his new found strength to fatherhood. Tweeps encouraged him after he shared the tweet, as they offered him their praises for his mental milestone.

South African hip hop artist, Cassper Nyovest is struggling like the rest of us, during the unprecedented time of the coronavirus pandemic. Like so many other South African’s the rapper is concerned about the economic impact which has occurred, due to the loss of jobs and revenue.

Cassper expressed his concerns in response to a fan who asked him to consider buy a luxury car at the end of the year. The fan stated, “Make sure Cassper end of this year you buy another one mufasa.” Cassper quickly responded with, “My guy!!!! It’s tough!!! I aint even thinking of buying cars right now!!! Im working hard to keep what i have and not lose too many things cause one thing for sure, something has to go. Life as an artist in these corona times is hard. GWA NYEWA!!! RE MO MASEPENG!!!!”.
