The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) continues with its coach development program with 30 female coaches set to undergo the CAF C licensing course.
General Secretary Adrian Kashala says CAF had given the FAZ the greenlight to conduct the course that will exclusively cater for women.
The academic component of the course will run from August 29 to September 10 in Lusaka with participation open to candidates who have a FAZ E/D license.
Participants will then go on internship from September 11-25 with the final module running from September 26-Ocrober 3.
Candidates will have to pay a participation fee of K8,000 which will cater for accommodation, tuition materials and attire as per CAF regulations
FAZ applied for an all-women course to give the growing number of ladies a chance to upgrade their coaching credentials.
Currently only eight females hold the CAF licenses a any level in the country.
It is the first time that FAZ is conducting an exclusive program for women.
