Etv and Pearl Thusi Fight

If you’re wondering why Anaconda is trending, you won’t be surprised to learn that Etv is the driving force behind it. The broadcaster raised a few feathers when they revealed this Saturday’s 8 p.m. movie, Anaconda – yes, for the 100th time.

Pearl Thusi joined the thousands of tweeps who chastised Etv for continuing to play Anaconda despite vowing not to do so 7 years ago. The media personality recommended Etv to do better and create better content, or to play classic movies that people are unaware of. Anything other than Anaconda, in fact.

Many people were bored when Pearl responded to Etv’s tweet asking them to guess this Saturday’s big movie.

Pearl stated that the broadcaster requires a better marketing team because Anaconda has been played since she was her daughter’s age.

We’re sure she wasn’t expecting the answer she got from Etv, who suggested she and her daughter watch it as a date.

Other critics of the broadcaster include Phil Mphela, who stated, “But you made a big deal about never showing the movie again. A full-fledged advertisement for the film’s final viewing. You lied, then.” According to Ms. Party, “Your marketing representative is dozing off. Anaconda was released in 1997. You could have made this week’s screening poignant by titling it “25 Years of Anaconda.” Bring it back to life. If you’re going to play it every few weeks, Nani, put your heart and soul into it.”

In other Pearl Thusi news, she has opted to do her own housework after suspending her housekeepers because she fears they are stealing her belongings. This week, Pearl admitted that she felt deceived by her colleagues for stealing her belongings. She compared the betrayal like being deceived by relatives.

“The worst part is that when your housekeeper steals from you, it’s like losing a family member. And if you don’t have proof of who did it, you have to pay for their crime in order to let them go or deal with the CCMA. That is really insane.”

She has now decided to put them on hold till further notice.

She was then forced to handle all of their tasks by herself, which included cooking, cleaning, feeding her dogs and birds, driving her daughter to school, and emptying the garbage cans. All of this in one day, which included going to the gym, attending an appointment, taking her second daughter Thando to an optometrist, shooting additional footage, and putting her girls to bed.

“Right now, I’m practically performing three people’s work,” Pearl said. “But, at the very least, nothing is going missing,” she said to her employees.

Pearl was also recently missing her mother, who died a few years ago. She shared a throwback photo in which she admits to crying a lot for her mother.

“As I begin to write this… I realize from now on, every day will be one more day I’ve been on this earth longer without you than I was ever with you, Mom,” Pearl said in prior writings. In the flesh, at any rate.”

“I find new methods to survive every time the world reminds me that you’re not here to console me about the small and major things…”

“That I can’t brag about making and raising the first African MAC cosmetics ambassador, the first person to lead a Netflix original in Africa… a worldwide actress, a powerful mother, businesswoman, and activist,” she wrote.

Pearl’s father, Bhekizizwe Thusi, died in 2020 “I hope you understood how much I adored and missed you. And how I’ve forgotten you’re gone. I still have to convince myself that you’re no longer here, over a year later “reads her blog post
