FOLLOWING the resignation of Democratic Party( DP) president Harry Kalaba more members have taken suit, with the latest being the deputy spokesperson Frank Sichone.
In a statement, Mr Sichone said this decision comes after Mr Kalaba announced his decision to step down and the wrangles that have engulfed the party.
“ Following the wrangles that have engulfed the Democratic Party in the past months to nearly a year and the step the Party President Harry Kalaba has taken to resign from the party today, I’ve with immediate effect resigned from the Democratic Party as a member and indeed as a deputy spokesperson, ” he said.
Mr Sichone has since that Mr Kalaba and the party for the opportunity they gave him to serve the people.
This follows the resignation of Mr Kalaba who blamed the excruciating slow court process aimed at resolving internal leadership wrangles in the party.
The former Foreign Affairs minister has since announced the formation of a new political party which he said will soon lodge a fresh application at the registrar of society.
