THREE culprits are on the run after they diced the forefinger of a 10- time-old boy living with albinism in Mkushi.
One of the suspects has been linked as Kendrick, while the others are unknown.
Police Prophet Rae Hamoonga said police have reported a case of the offence of Grievious Bodily Harm after a cutlet of a 10- time-old boy was diced off.
“ This was after Patrick Mwape aged 40 of unmarked house number Chilomo area Mkushi of Kashimba Village in Chitina Chiefdom a Peasant planter reported that his son a manly Juvenile aged 10 who’s a person living with Albinism was dolorously harmed. The victim had his fore cutlet of his left hand diced off using a sharp instrument by three manly persons one of them only linked as Kendrick believed to be a occupant of Mkushi. This passed on June 25, 2022 between 0900 hours and 1100 hours at Chilomo area, ” he said.
Mr Hamoonga said brief data of the matter are that the victim was left home with his fellow minors at Chilomo area after his parents went to church.
He said whilst at church the parents entered information about the incident and they rushed home where they set up the victim crying and his fore cutlet of the left hand missing.
“ Upon canvassing him he told the father that Kendrick came with other two unknown persons home and Kendrick called the victim to come near to them and incontinently he did. The other two held him and cut off his fore cutlet using a big sharp scissors and cutter. The three suspects went down with the victim’s cutlet. latterly the victim was rushed to Mkushi District Hospital where he’s admitted. examinations have been introduced to bring the suspects to bespeak, ” he said.
Mr Hamoonga appealed to the general public that may have information that may lead to the apprehension or successful execution of the suspects to report to Mkushi police station or any nearest police station.
