Grammy-winning artist Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, has expressed his contemplation of hiring 100 lawyers to pursue legal action against Nigerian bloggers for what he perceives as defamation.
Burna Boy stated that he could have initiated a series of legal battles against Nigerian bloggers using the funds he had earlier promised them to cease posting about him. However, he conveyed his understanding of the financial struggles they face, opting for a more considerate approach.
In a message shared on his social media platform on Wednesday, Burna Boy, writing in Pidgin, questioned why Nigerian bloggers seem intent on pushing him to the brink. He remarked, “The money I wanted to give Instablog that time, it seems like it should go to about 100 lawyers now. But I know everyone is hustling, so it would pain me to do such a thing. Why are you pushing me?”
