Bonang Isn’t Finished With Rea Kopane

The feud between television personality Bonang Matheba and controversial podcaster Rea Kopane is far from finished.

Last year, Rea Kopane got into trouble with Bonang after saying that the media personality introduced her ex-boyfriend AKA to cocaine. He claimed to have learned this from radio and television star Siyabonga ‘Scoop Makhathini’ Ngwekazi.

Following his shocking statements, Bonang hit him with an R500k lawsuit. Rea was told to issue a retraction and apology in the form of a video and a letter, which he was to post on all of his social media accounts.

According to the letter of demand, the 22-year-old YouTuber apologized and retracted his statements on his social media profiles.

Bonang was entangled in a multimillion-rand legal battle over her sparkling wine House of BNG in October 2021. The media personality announced the termination of her contract with her former management company, Celebrity Services Africa (CSA). She stated that she had cancelled her contract with the company due to probable criminal behavior.

Gopane discussed it on his Everything SA Music website, saying Bonang’s financial acumen is overstated and that she is not as sophisticated as she makes people believe she is.

“She’s just good at encouraging her admirers to attack others, and she’s been doing it for a couple of years.”

“Ntsiki Mazwai informed us, cry out to her, she said Bonang is just in front.” She’s having her lawyers do silly things like bring cops to my residence and serve me with a summons.”

“Now comes the hard part: fastening the bag.” She duped everyone with some ‘girls with vineyards,’ but she doesn’t have a f*cking vineyard “he stated.

If you recall, Ntsiki said this on Twitter: “Believing Bonang owned the wine (House Of BNG) was akin to believing she owned Revlon….She is merely a marketing gimmick to promote these items. Not the proprietor, “Ntsiki stated.

Bonang wished him luck and added a heart emoji to a cryptic post. The legal battle between the two appears to be ongoing, as Bonang has hired lawyers.

Mr Smeg, a social media user, requested Bonang to forgive him in a tweet, but the media personality remains resolute. She, on the other hand, laughed at him.

“Hello, @Bonang.

The purest kind of love is forgiveness.

It takes a strong person to apologize, and much more strength to forgive. Please forgive him and let him go. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require a shoulder to cry on.
