Despite the rapper’s many features in numerous ‘sexiest women is Mzansi lists’, Boity describes her weight gain as one of her insecurities.
The reality TV star wears many hats and she might have made a name for herself using the talent that she harnesses. But her banging body also remains a huge part of her image as well.
Of course, the Ba Kae rapper is also human, therefore people’s opinions and cyberbullying do get to her. That was heightened leading up to the premiere of her reality show, Boity: Own Your Throne.
She spoke candidly to DRUM magazine about her weight. Being a busy woman who is sometimes always on the road, meant she had little time to go to the gym. If you follow her social media, you might have noticed that she never posted any bikini pictures last year. She revealed that she felt fat and her clothes did not fit.
“I’ve gained a lot of weight. My mom even disses me a few times on the show about it…It’s something I’m very insecure about. I even got rid of my scale when I saw how much weight I gained. But I’m working on getting my body back,” she told the magazine.
Boity has been fighting off trolls over her weight gain for years now. She was never one to shy away from responding and told them that she was working on getting her body back.
If you many recall, in 2018 the star went into the business of weight-loss supplements.

Boity has since regained her confidence back and her Instagram pictures in a black bikini, are evidence of that.
