PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has re-echoed government’s commitment to ensure that development is delivered to all parts of the country.
Mr Hichilema has said that the United Party for National Development (UPND) is not here to play, but to serve the people of Zambia for them to live better livelihoods.
Mr Hichilema speaking during a radio interview by Radio Ichengelo in Ndola yesterday said that the agenda of his administration is to reconstruct the economy.
“We came into government to work. Even my colleagues at cabinet know. I told them to search their souls to ensure that they know that they want to work and not play because anyone with me should work hard to serve the people and not play around,” he said
Mr Hichilema also re-echoed that government is set on working with the church and not competing with it to ensure that development is delivered to all.
