7 people nabbed for allegedly burning down chingola mayor Johnson kangombe’s guest house

POLICE on the Copperbelt have arrested seven (07) suspects in connection with the fire that swept through Chingola Mayor Johnson Kangombe’s Guest House.

According to a statement issued by Copperbelt Commanding Officer Sharon Zulu, the suspects include three pupils, and two brick layers among others.

On Saturday last week, unknown people allegedly set ablaze Mayor Kangombe’s Guest House and a servant’s quarter.

And Zulu said police have so far arrested seven suspects amount them include Susan Chibale a Grade Eight pupil at Chingola Skills in Samfya District; a 15 year old Memory Kalumba, a Grade six pupil at Council Community School of Nchelenge District; and John Chongo aged 15 year who is also Grade Eight pupil at Kasompe Combined School of Isoka District.
