Zimbabwe’s Marshall Munetsi has emphasized the importance of moving on from the recent 0-0 draw against Rwanda. Despite their dominance in the game, the Warriors couldn’t break through the opponent’s defence at Huye Stadium.

Looking ahead to the upcoming match against Nigeria’s Super Eagles at the same venue, Munetsi stressed the need for the team to shift focus.

“Playing on an artificial turf was challenging for us. We anticipated a tough game, and although we created numerous opportunities, we couldn’t convert them,” said the Stade de Reims player, speaking to the national football website.

“We had limited training following a long break from football. This game serves as a good starting point for us. It’s a valuable point earned at home. We’ll take this and concentrate on the next match against Nigeria on Sunday.”
